Jewish Treasures in Oxford

Bodleian Libraries

There are many rare, beautiful and scholarly valuable Hebrew and Jewish manuscripts in the Bodleian Library and the libraries of the colleges of the University of Oxford.

What better way to celebrate World Book Day than dipping in to the  Friends of the Bodleian’s  series of author talks? Through their partnership with Bodleian Publishing, the Friends welcome authors of recent publications to discuss their books in detail. We are often able to use these events to reunite authors with the Bodleian collections that inspired and informed their writing, allowing the audience a more in-depth insight into the writing process as well as the opportunity to have their questions answered.
